Sahaba Encyclopedia 2cd (Arabic) [PC]
Harf Information Technology undertook the responsibility of presenting a comprehensive encyclopedia of the companions of the Messenger (peace be upon him). The companions were the pioneers in propagating the Message of Islam and protecting it till it reached the next generations.
The following are the main sections of the program:
A comprehensive Lexicon including about 12,000 companions arranged alphabetically.
A section for the classes of the companions arranged according to time and place, in addition to female companions classes.
Different indices: indices of the ten companions given the glad tidings of entering Paradise, indices of the forerunners to Islam, the first companions of the Messenger (peace be upon him), the leaders and rulers from the companions, the companions who used to give Fatwas, the companions who narrated many Hadiths of the Messenger (peace be upon him), companions from among the Jinn and those companions regarding whom there was a difference whether they were regarded as companions or not.
A section about the companions: definitions of the companions and their virtues, background about the companions and their number.
A section classifying the companions in the light on the following references:
The Holy Quran: this reference displays the companions regarding whose situations Quranic verses were revealed. This sub-section presents the text of the verses along with the following interpretations: Al-Jalalain, Ibn Kathir, Al-Qurtubi or At-Tabari, in addition to linking every companion to the Quranic verses concerned based on the book "Rijal Wa Nisa Nazala Fihim Quran" (Men and women regarding whose case Quranic verses were revealed).
Hadith: this reference presents companions who narrated Hadiths from the Messenger (peace be upon him), along with the display of their narrations in the nine books of Hadith and other books.
Jurisprudence: this reference presents the companions who had special juristic opinions along with the display of these juristic opinions through more than a hundred juristic references from Islamic heritage.
Sirah: this reference displays the places in which the companions were mentioned in the books of Sirah.
History: this reference identifies the places in which the companions were mentioned in the books of history.
