Hadeeth Qudsee are the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (sal-Allaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) as revealed to him by the Almighty Allaah. Hadeeth Qudsee (or Sacred Hadeeth) are so named because, unlike the majority of Hadeeth which are Prophetic Hadeeth, their authority (Sanad) is traced back not to the Prophet but to the Almighty.
