In the Son of the Mighty Eagle, the young Moroccan traveler heads for India, but inevitably does not get there! Instead, he comes across a straw hut built for love, has an audience with a poetry-reciting Mongol Emperor, and crosses the shark-infested Red Sea in the company of some camels. In Yemen, his adventures are still not over, as he chews on a leaf which makes him forget his worries, and in Africa, he tastes two exotic and delicious fruits for the first time.
