The Islamic Education and Development Series is based on a curriculum that was developed after researching the various curricula used in Muslim schools and communities throughout the world. The book introduces and explains concepts of ‘aqidah (Islamic belief or creed), fiqh (understanding of the application of Islam), adab/akhlaq (manners and character), sirah (biography or history of the Prophet and his companions), and hadith (selected authentic sayings of the Prophet Muhammad and his actions or approval/disapproval regarding various social issues as narrated by his companions).
