This famous dictionary of the QurÆan has gone through many reprints by various Muslim and non-Muslim publishers since it was first published in 1873. However, this is the first time it has been subjected to a complete revision by a Muslim scholar to include:

Transliteration of every word ò A transliteration table following the scheme adopted in the English translation of the Holy Quran by Abdullah Yusuf Ali ò A ready reference list of abbreviations ò And all references to the ayats in the Quran has been corrected to correspond with the Madinah Mushaf, which is used by Abdullah Yusuf Ali, Marmaduke Pickthall, etc.
