In the book So Let Us Call to Islam, Dr. Al-Bouti stresses that the balance of truthfulness in calling to Islam is the victory for the religion of God, for the sake of His pleasures and not the victory of the self– either for fortune, status or fame. When done for the right reasons, the light of the caller is illuminated as is his path in knowledge of the shar’iah and its principles. If one wants to spread Islam, then don’t get diverted by wealth or prestige.
