About
The author has been involved for more than thirty years with questions of American international relations, particularly in the Middle East. From the days in 1940 when he saw Wendell Wilkie, American Presidential candidate, in a procession in the streets of Baghdad, Iraq, praised and admired by the people, to the days in the 1980's when Americans became targets of kidnapping in the Arab world, there has been 100% reversal in American international position. This change is to the detriment of everyone, the author maintains. The question is "Why" the reversal?
Terrorism: Why America is the Target is an attempt to answer that question.
