About
The Zivot I Moral Muhammedov was originally written in French and published as a two part article in the French language Young Turk magazine Mecheroutiette by Albert Fua. It was translated into Bosnian by Salih Bakamovic (1892-1940). He was a widely known Mostar-based translator who worked with Arabic, French, German, and English. Among his translations are a work on Pan-Turkism, a Turkish play Tarik by Abdul Hakk Hamid, and several works on Islamic history and culture.
This is a translation from French to Bosnian and then to English of the reflections of a Jewish leader of the Young Turk Movement on the Life and Morals of the Prophet Muhammad.
