His light began to spread, and a yearning for his arrival began to envelop hearts with the creation of the Prophet Adam. This overwhelmed with live and affection for him even before he was born eagerly awaited his arrival.

The Prophets sent to nations before him brought glad tidings of the Messenger to come, bringing a sense of ease and comfort to the hearts of people. During a period when darkness had encompassed the entire world, a light, a gleam of hope began to emanate from the city of Makkah. This holy light that began in Mecca would eventually encompass all of the earth. Enlightening the era with his radiance and destroying the customs of old. he introduced the world to humanity once more. None as honorable as he were born into the world, no words or manner of speech matched the Excellency of his, and no era was as blissful and prosperous as the period in which he lived. This era is thus referred to in books as the ‘era of bliss’.
