An eighteen-year-old Iranian boy is thrust into a new and strange world in search of a Western education. He returns home after 13 years and becomes a leader in the academic and medical community, working to foster progress. Decades later, and after years of soul-searching in the U.S. as an immigrant Muslim, he passionately shares his insights gained from living between two cultures.
