About the Translation
For a translation to do justice to the Quran and capture its elegance and vigor, it has to be accurate, smooth, eloquent, and accessible. Unlike most popular translations, The Clear Quran® masterfully passes on all counts. To achieve accuracy, the translator has made use of the greatest and most celebrated works of old and modern tafsir (Quran commentaries), and shared the work with several Imams in North America for feedback and insight. For clarity, every effort has been made to select easy to understand words and phrases that reflect the beauty, flow, and power of the original text. Along with informative footnotes and Sura (chapter) introductions, verses have been grouped and titled based on their themes for a better understanding of the chapters, their main concepts, and internal coherence. Thanks to our dedicated team of scholars, editors, and proofreaders, we believe that what you are holding in your hands now is the finest translation of the Final Revelation.
About the Translator
Dr. Mustafa Khattab is a Canadian-Egyptian authority on interpreting the Quran. He was a member of the first team that translated the Ramadan night prayers (Tarawîḥ) live from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina (2002-2005). Dr. Khattab memorized the entire Quran at a young age, and later obtained a professional ijâzah in the Ḥafṣ style of recitation with a chain of narrators going all the way to Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ. He received his Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Islamic Studies in English with Honours from Al-Azhar University’s Faculty of Languages & Translation. He lectured on Islam at Clemson University (OLLI Program, 2009-2010), held the position of Lecturer at Al-Azhar University for over a decade starting in 2003, and served as the Muslim Chaplain at Brock University (2014-2016) and UTM (2019-2021). Clear Quran Arabic Font size and translation
Arabic font size is very small and put significant stress on the eyes. I wish you enlarge the overall book size and increase the font size as well. When I presented this to my daughter on her birthday she is really liking it and using it as a bedside book except for one concern that the font size is very small.
Besides, I don't agree with the translation of ALLAH into God. ALLAH is the ism of ALLAH and ism(name) is not supposed to be translated and remains the same in all languages. Besides, the concept of God is not the same and it is understood differently in other religions. If you make revisions please do consider this request to write ALLAH and not God.
Overall translation work is commendable and you have done the great work. May ALLAH give you more taufeeq to do work on HIS path.

Very useful introduction and positive approach to the translation
This translation found the balance in respecting the elements of both English and Arabic languages, the use of clear indication when extra words are added for better English understanding also helps a lot. Definitely this is the Quran translation I will recommend to anyone interested.
