For a translation to do justice to the Quran and capture its elegance and vigor, it has to be accurate, smooth, eloquent, and accessible. Unlike most popular translations, The Clear Quran masterfully passes on all counts.
ABOUT THE TRANSLATION
Thousands of hours have been put into this work over the last few years to guarantee accuracy, clarity, eloquence, and flow. To achieve accuracy, the translator has made use of the greatest and most celebrated works of old and modern tafsir (Quran commentaries), and shared the work with several Imams in North America for feedback and insight. For clarity, every effort has been made to select easy to understand words and phrases that reflect the beauty, flow, and power of the original text. Along with informative footnotes and surah (chapter) introductions, verses have been grouped and titled based on their themes for a better understanding of the chapters, their main concepts, and internal coherence. Thanks to our dedicated team of scholars, editors, and proofreaders, we believe that what you are holding in your hands now is the finest translation of the Final Revelation.
This translation has been officially approved by Al-Azhar (the most prestigious school of Islamic knowledge in the world) and endorsed by ISNA and the Canadian Council of Imams.

I can read the Quran in Arabic since I'm a kid but I never really quite understood the meaning of it since my first language is English/French. I liked the introduction of this translated version and the last pages are for notes and that is amazing. I'm happy I made this purchase it made me gain knowledge & just made me realize how lucky I am to be born a Muslim. Al-hamdulillah. May Allah grant us all Jannah x

I'm a non-muslim who loves studying all world religions. I've read the Quran in the past, but have also read that one should read multiple translations to get a better sense of what the original intended. After researching for a while, the Clear Quran seemed to be the best option to buy. When it arrived I was very happy with the care with which it was packed. It arrived without any blemishes. The binding is beautiful and I'm beyond thrilled at the footnotes at the bottom of every page. I've purchased the clear quran on kindle and it's not the same clicking a footnote, reading, then going back to the page you're reading. Very pleased with my purchase.
Now I only need one!

I will preface my review by stating that I am not a Muslim, but I have the utmost respect for Islam and the Holy Quran. I often seek spiritual guidance in the suras of the Holy Quran. I unfortunatly do not understand Arabic, so I require a translation. Many other versions I have read are often difficult to comprehend due to some concepts being difficult to translate from Arabic. I often have to read the same sura in as many versions possible in 3 different languages to attempt to fully comprehend what is being said. This translation is as the name implies.....clear. After reading a few verses of this translation, I can tell the amount of work that was put into this project. It allows me to keep reading and keep learning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
